Sootfruit is a pony who loves to just dance. You can find her most days dancing at the dance academy in town. Despite her soft looks, she can be a particular, bossy type when conversing with her classmates. She tends to keep her siblings a secret, in fear of loosing her position.
Drift was the foal obviously most affected by his changeling roots than his sisters. Despite of this, somehow it seems that he has a gift. Ponies that see him tend to calm down and feel happier about their own lives. He cannot seem to find any sort of passion however, so he bounces between many different activities at a time.
Pomegranate is the apple of her parents' eyes. In personality, she seems to take after Fisk, loving to stick her nose where it might not belong. She doesn't like the sea, and prefers to fly over the ground.
Bobber is a smaller, quiet pony. He enjoys becoming lost in huge crowds, and just being a fly on the wall. He's afraid of dogs.
Brightmane is a happy-go-lucky pony who can make the best out of any situation. Sometimes this is a fault, as she can fail to realize the gravity of certain situations. It can take a good snide comment from Sourpatch to make her snap out of her happy cloud.
This is a very skittish filly! Meerkattoes just seems to be nervous all the time. She is most calm when surronded by all her siblings. She's also somewhat claustrophobic.
Taro is a strong pony, both in physical and emotional strength. Any stress seems to glide right off him like water on a duck. He's a steadfast guy who hardly ever becomes angry.
This foal is pretty true to his name. Sourpatch makes mountains out of molehills, almost oppisite of his sister Brightmane. He's also sensitive, often complaining of hurt feelings and laying about the house. He's hard to inspire, but once you get him into something, it's very difficult for him to pull away from it.
Gingershock is a outlandish fool. She loves to be the center of attention; unfortunately this tactic of life turns out to not gain one very many friends in the long run. Older ponies underestimate her because of her goofy attitude.
Polarshine is a foal who would like everything her way if she could have it. However her way wouldn't be such a bad thing, because she'd like for everyone to be nicer to eachother. She's often intervening fights and arguments, trying to find a compromise.
Raspberrylemonade is a quiet colt. For one reason or another he can't seem to make friends, so he often reads and lets the characters come alive for him, becoming his friends. If you catch him sometime, you might be able to spot the magically projected transparent Daring Do trotting alongside him.
---------------------------------
Emberquail, better known as Ember, can be frequently found down by the pond. She loves to watch dragonflies and especially loves Spring when the tadpoles come out. She thinks that every little living creature matters, and has been known to wail if she finds any dead grasshoppers or anything like that.
Lilyglow is a very mellow crystal pony. She enjoys camoflouging herself against the forest; the only thing that gives her away is her mane and tail! (Her front hooves can be easily tucked underneath her) She does not care for rough play; feeling rather fragile in state.
Snoweye tends to be teased for the reason that, despite being an 'all powerful alicorn', she can't really do anything right. Her magic seems to shoot off randomly and is unpredictable. Her father, Nestor, tells her not to worry about it.
Gothel is not a very nice filly. She can be quite the bully when she wants to be in fact; using her horns as battering rams. She has been known to headbutt boulders when she is angry; cracking them right down the middle. What she doesn't know is, she often leaves behind priceless materials for other ponies to easily find that were trapped within the stone. Her cutie mark is a ram because she will not back down.
Brita is a very flighty foal. She is a daydreamer, and has been known to bump into walls during these moments.
Sharpecho is actually partially blind in his green eyes; he uses a form of echolocation to find his way around. He likes to collect strange, seemingly useless objects when he finds them. He can be a packrat with such collections.
Chiclet's most often seen with his sister Brita. He enjoys pulling harmless jokes; though some of them can be unfunny to others.
---WHITNEY----
(Character: Whitney, a Pokemon Gym Trainer from Pokemon: Silver, Gold, Crystal and the remakes HeartGold and SoulSilver. I'm sorry this will probably make little to no sense to you, but this is one of my favorite minor characters I always wanted to know more about...)
Everyone in Goldenrod City knows of Whitney, the Normal type gym leader of their town. They all boast of her powerful Miltank's Rollout attack and her Clefairy's Metronome, and many trainers will discuss their countless defeats at her pokemon's paws. Everyone complains of her crying after you finally do beat her, but her history is debated. It's not really a complicated story at all.
Whitney had always been a wild child. She was raised on a farm in another town by her uncle's farm. He owned many Miltank, making money to raise her by selling MooMoo milk. She was raised to be kind, however, she hadn't always been raised by her uncle's side. When she was five, her parents died during a business trip. They had been rich, and would tout her with all the toys she could ever want and made sure she was always happy. Because of this glamorous early childhood, she could be quite upset if she doesn't get what she wants. This is the reason she now cries whenever she is beaten, even if she knows it's the gym leaders' job to challenge trainers. She enjoyed getting into everything anyone around her was in. Her uncle loved to play gin rummy, so naturally she picked it up right away.
One day a calf was born and she became very attached to the little Miltank. She was always by her side. One day her uncle decided to move their farm closer to Goldenrod, a quickly growing city. Upset by the move, her uncle managed to win a Clefairy for her at the town's Game Corner. The Clefairy became her sidekick, helping her around the city whenever she would manage to become lost. Pokemon were nothing but friends, siblings, for her up to this point until she was around 17. A young boy who came to the farm wanted to challenge her with his Raticate. She caught onto the strategy of battles quickly. It was fun for her and her Pokemon got enjoyment out of it; she made many friends this way, so why not? Soon people in town heard of this prodegy, coming to the farm to watch her battle. The gym leader in town was becoming very old. He had held his position for many years, even while raising the family. His Furret, which had been his starter as a Sentret, and Ursaring were also getting very white around their fur. After seeing her in battle, he knew she could replace him and on a bright Monday, he walked Whitney into the bright doors of the Gym. Even for how young she was, the town had no problem with the old man giving her his role.
