This is a list of all the things that can be taught to a Fiero. If it's not on this list, it's not trainable, although you can feel free to suggest new things in the suggestions board ^.^
Anything with Point Value in the description can be used in shows (although some are actually 0 XD) and anything with Damage in the description can be used in battle.
The how to train section is just a suggestion. There are many, many, many different ways to train each move.
Note that this will be added to, likely quite frequently.

Basic Training (Things any Fiero should learn, preferably before anything else)
Name of Trick: Accept Contact Description: Your Fiero will allow you to touch it anywhere on it's body, including it's feet. How to Train: Carefully pet or massage your Fiero until it is used to your touch. Don't forget places like it's tail, belly or legs. Make sure to include your Fiero's reaction to your touches and it gradually becoming used to and maybe even enjoying them.
Name of Trick: Accept Name Description: Your Fiero will know and respond to their name Point Value: 1 Requirements: None (Note that your character has to explain the name to the Fiero. Note also that Fieros identify each other by their smell and not a specific noise, so it may take a bit to get them to understand...) How to Train: Explain the concept of a name to your Fiero (that it's how you identify them, etc) Remember that the way a Fiero identifies another Fiero is by smell, and the concept of a spoken name will be odd to them. Once you think they've understood, practice by having them respond in some way to their name.

Mount Training (Tricks that must be taught to a Fiero before it can be riden) (Please note that depending on the type of Fiero and the height of your character(s), some Fieros are too large or small to be riden)
Name of Trick: Carry Rider Description: Your Fiero will allow you on it's back and carry you, however, it will be where it wants to go, and not you Point Value: 1 Requirements: Accept contact How to Train: Get up on your Fiero's back. Expect to fall off a few times as they'll be surprised and unaccustomed to your weight. If they start moving, let them, and try to stay on. Note that they may try to buck or shake you off and generally be very confused as to what you expect of them. Communicate with them and tell them what you want. Once you can stay on while they're moving, you've likely succeeded.
Name of Trick: Go Description: Used to get a stopped Fiero to begin moving. Useful in mount training. Point Value: 1 Requirements: None (Although Carry Rider is suggested) How to Train: Use either your voice or body movements (squeezing your legs on either side of them, a light kick, etc) to get your Fiero moving while you're on their back. They may be reluctant, confused, etc and will not know how fast they're meant to go. You will have to wait for them to stop on their own a few times (unless they already know Stop) and then make sure that they'll move when you tell them to.
Name of Trick: Stop Description: When your Fiero is moving, it will stop. Useful for if you want to train it as a mount. Point Value: 1 Requirements: None (Although it is suggested you use this for mount training and No for anything else) How to Train: While your Fiero is moving with you on their back, get them to stop. It can be through body movements or voice commands. You will have to wait for them to start moving on their own (unless they already know Go) several times so you can be sure they'll stop when you tell them to.
Name of Trick: Turn Description: Your Fiero will turn and continue on in the direction you want it to go Point Value: 1 Requirements: Carry Rider How to Train: While on your Fiero's back, get them to turn. This can be done through body movements or vocal commands. Make sure they understand which way you want them to turn as well. You could practice circles or figure eights to make sure they understand and will go exactly where you want them to.
Name of Trick: Faster Description: Your Fiero will speed up while you're on it's back Point Value: 1 Requirements: Carry Rider How to Train: It's recommended to train this once you're used to being on your Fiero's back, preferably after Turn, but it's not required. While your Fiero is moving with you on their back, get them to move faster. It can be through either vocal commands or body movements. Note that your Fiero will not know how much faster you want them to move at first, and you may even fall off when they speed up. Work with them to find paces that suit you both, and remember that it will likely be tiring for them to move fast with you on their back.
Name of Trick: Slower Description: Your Fiero will slow down Point Value: 1 Requirements: Carry Rider How to Train: While your Fiero is moving with you on their back, get them to slow down. This can be done through either vocal commands or body language. Note that your Fiero will not know how much to slow down at first, and some may even stop completely. If they're moving quite fast when you first begin, you may even fall off. Work with your Fiero to find good paces to slow down to, and test it multiple times to make sure they understand.

Accessory Training (Tricks that must be taught to a Fiero before they can wear or use a certain accessory. Used primarily in roleplaying)
Name of Trick: Accept Collar Description: Your Fiero allows you to put a collar on it, and doesn't go crazy trying to get it off like my cat does.. Point Value: 0 Requirements: None How to Train: Bring both the Fiero and the collar with you to the training area. Let the Fiero sniff the collar and explain what it is and where it's meant to go. When the Fiero is ready, put the collar on it. Be expected to have to take it off several times as your Fiero gets used to it. Don't force it. You may need to come back to the training area over several days. Once your Fiero stops scratching at it or generally just trying to get it off or feeling uncomfortable, then you've likely succeeded. Just remember to be patient. Try reviewing some previously learned tricks and/or attacks or play with your Fiero while the collar is on to take their mind off of it.
Name of Trick: Accept Leash Description: Your Fiero will accept a leash being attached to it's collar, but not yet you holding the leash or controlling it with it. Point Value: 0 Requirements: Accept Collar How to Train: Bring your Fiero to the training area with its collar on. Show them the leash, explain it, and try lightly flicking it over their legs to get it used to the feel of it. Then attach it and let the Fiero walk around for a bit, getting used to the small bit of extra weight on their collar and learning not to trip over it. You could also tie the leash to a tree if you want and let the Fiero get used to it restricting how far away from said tree they can go and learning not to get tangled up in it. Your Fiero will likely be pretty confused at first and may even break the leash if it isn't strong enough to hold them.
Name of Trick: Accept Leash Control Description: Your Fiero will allow you to control it with the leash, and won't tug at it. Point Value: 1 Requirements: Accept Leash How to Train: Once your Fiero is used to the leash, the next step is to pick it up. Explain to your Fiero what you'd like it to do, for example, that when you tug on the leash you want the Fiero to begin moving in that direction. Note that Fieros can be stubborn, and quite a few of them are stronger than a human. You may end up being dragged by the leash a few times. The Fiero also may not feel your tug, and can get distracted by things, or just be stubborn about wanting to walk on a leash. By the end of the training, you should have a well behaved Fiero that knows where the limit of the leash is and won't tug on it or drag you around, but follow obediently where you want it to go.

Attacks (Used primarily in battles)
Physical Attacks
Name of Attack: Nibble Description: Your Fiero lightly chews, not doing much damage Damage: 1 Requirements: None How to Train: While Fieros can deal a surprisingly powerful bite all on their own, it is required to teach them nibble before any other teeth attacks so they can learn to control their strength. Nibble is a very light bite. If nibbling on a stick, a Fiero shouldn't break it, but only leave light teeth marks in it. There are many ways to train attacks. The easiest for nibble is likely to explain what you want your Fiero to do, and then get it something to nibble on, such as a stick, chew toy, or even your hand if you feel brave enough, although it's not recommended. Make sure your Fiero will consistently apply the right amount of pressure to whatever object you use, and that it will do so on your command.
Name of Attack: Nip Description: Your Fiero nips (light, quick bite) Damage: 2 Requirements: Nibble How to Train: A nip is a light, quick bite. It should do more damage than a nibble, but not so much as a bite. It is fairly easy to train and follows the same pattern as nibble. Simply find something for your Fiero to nip at and keep going until the Fiero is doing what you want when you say to. It's a good idea to wave the object around as well. As this is used mostly to attack, having a moving target will help it to know a little of what to expect in the arena.
Name of Attack: Bite Description: Your Fiero bites Damage: 3 Requirements: Nibble, Nip How to Train: Unlike nibble or nip, a bite is quite a powerful attack. Biting can snap sticks, leave holes in toys, and you don't even want to think about using your hand for this one. Your Fiero bites down deeply, using quite a lot of their strength. With this one, you may have to train to achieve a greater force rather than less like with nibble and nip. It follows the same pattern, but make sure whatever you use to train it isn't something you want to keep afterwards.
Name of Attack: Scrape Description: A very light scratch, with the claws. Damage: 1 Requirements: None How to Train: Most people use trees to train the claw based attacks. You can also use training dummies, or a variety of other things. Scrape is a very light attack. It should leave light marks on a tree but not break through the bark. It is usually performed with only one front paw at a time so a Fiero can use the rest of it's legs for balance. Have your Fiero lift a front paw and scrape it over the tree or other training aid. Some Fieros don't like to use their claws and you'll have to pick a foot up and run their claws over the tree to show them what you want to do. Others feel unbalanced on three legs or don't like the feeling of bark on their claws. Remember that scrape shouldn't do much damage, and to ask your Fiero to adjust the amount of strength they're putting into it if need be. You should teach them to do it with either of their front paws so if one is injured they can still use the attack.
Name of Attack: Scratch Description: Scratches, using claws. Damage: 2 Requirements: Scrape How to Train: Scratch follows the same pattern as scrape. It is also usually performed with one paw, but is quicker and does more damage. If using a tree, it should break through the bark and leave noticeable marks on the tree. You can also try waving around a sheet of bark and have your Fiero scratch at it as if it were an enemy.
Name of Attack: Claw Description: Does more damage than Scratch, but the movement is the same. Damage: 3 Requirements: Scrape, Scratch How to Train: As stated in the description, claw does more damage than scratch, but the movement is exactly the same. It follows the same pattern, but your Fiero puts more strength into it. It should dig into the wood of the tree and leave quite deep marks in it. If using a sheet of bark, claw will be able to slice clean through it and leave holes. You may have to train your Fiero to attack with enough strength rather than limiting it as with scrape and scratch.
Name of Attack: Slash Description: Your Fiero tears at it's opponent with powerful, sharp claws. Damage: 4 Requirements: Scrape, Scratch, Claw How to Train: Slash is one of the most powerful physical attacks. Your Fiero rears up on it's back legs and uses both front legs to dig deeply into their opponent. If using a tree, the attack should be powerful enough to cause sap to leak out of the marks. It's also possible for a Fiero to get their claws stuck while using this attack, and you may have to teach them how to pull them back out of the tree. Slash requires a lot of strength and you will almost certainly have to train this strength into your Fiero, as well as teach it to balance on two legs while it attacks.
Physical Defense Moves
Name of Attack: Jump Description: Your Fiero Jumps to avoid an attack Damage: If successful, your opponent's attack will not land. (1/3 chance that this attack will work) Requirements: None How to Train: This attack is relatively simple to train. Get something soft, like a bunch of sponges, and take them and your Fiero to the training meadow. Explain what you're teaching them, and then just start throwing the sponges at them. Try to have them jump back away from them or to the side. You can progress to less soft things once they're jumping away from the sponges if you want, but remember not to throw them too hard. You don't want to injure your Fiero. Make sure they can do this on command as well, as it is primarily used in battle.
Name of Attack: Leap Description: Your Fiero leaps to avoid an attack Damage: 2/3 chance of avoiding your opponent's attack. Requirements: Jump How to Train: Leap is one step up from jump. Instead of quickly jumping to the side or away from the object being thrown at it, leap entails jumping over whatever is attacking it. If your Fiero is large enough, and if you're brave enough, you can train this attack by running at your Fiero and having it leap over your head or shoulder to avoid you. Having another Fiero run at them instead is likely the better way though, as it's closer to what they would face in the arena. Again, make sure they can do this on command. You can find some sort of object for them to leap over to make sure they will.

Tricks (Used primarily in shows)
Name of Trick: Sit Description: Your Fiero sits, on command Point Value: 1 Requirements: None How to Train: It's usually a bit difficult to get a Fiero to learn tricks, and as such, sit, which is the first trick usually learned, can be difficult. There are many ways to teach it, from the standard dog way of holding up a treat and getting your Fiero to sit, to pressing down on their back end (make sure they know Accept Contact first) to simply explaining what you'd like them to do. Whatever you decide, keep in mind that there will likely be some resistance or confusion on the part of the Fiero, and make sure that they will do the trick on command.
Name of Trick: Lie Down Description: Your Fiero lies down, on command Point Value: 2 Requirements: Sit How to Train: Get your Fiero to sit. From there, decide how you'd like to teach them to lie down. You could bring a treat down to the ground and out away from them, push down on their front end, or simply tell them to lie down. Again, make sure that they'll do it on command, and as always, be sure to reward them when they do what you want.
Name of Trick: Up Description: Your Fiero will stand up from a sitting or lying down position Point Value:2 Requirements: Sit How to Train: Have your Fiero sit or lie down, it's best to practice with both if your Fiero knows both of them. Then have it get back up again. You can put your hand under their belly and push up, or simply explain what you'd like them to do. If you do practice from both sit and lie down, make sure that your Fiero gets up all the way from both of them, many will simply go from a lie down to a sit when you tell them Up at first. As always, be sure to praise them and reward them with treats when they do what you want.
Name of Trick: Stay Description: Your Fiero will stay where you leave them and not follow you or wander off Point Value: 1 Requirements: None (However it's often trained with Come) How to Train: Stay can be tricky, especially with either a very loyal or very hyper Fiero. Simply get a Fiero to stay in one place for as long as you want them to. You can put them in a sit or lie down position if they know either of those so it's more comfortable for them while they wait. Explain to them what they are to do and why. At first make them wait for small amounts of time without much distraction and with you close by. Then give them plenty of reason to leave the position. Perhaps have a friend play with a Fiero nearby or take them to a place in the training meadow where they've never been before. Make sure to try being completely out of your Fiero's sight as well. Circle around so the wind doesn't blow your scent at them and hide behind some trees. Loyal Fieros will usually come looking for you a few times even if you've told them not to. Once they've stayed where you want them to, and for the amount of time you want them to, you've likely been successful with this trick.
Name of Trick: Come Description: When called, your Fiero will come to you Point Value: 1 Requirements: None (However it's often trained with Stay) How to Train: The easiest way to train come is to first explain it, and then put your Fiero into a stay position. Back up a bit and have them come to you. Repeat from further away, and make sure to also try it when the Fiero is distracted by something, to make sure that they'll respond to the command no matter what they're doing.
Name of Trick: Follow Description: Your Fiero will follow you and not wander off Point Value: 2 Requirements: Come How to Train: Start this trick off by having your Fiero come to you. Next, walk away and tell them to follow you. They should follow either directly behind or off to one side, never in front of you, and niether too close nor too far away. Make sure to practice this for long enough for your Fiero to get board of following you or find something interesting to take their mind off of doing the trick. When they do, call them back to you, explain that they have to stay with you at all times when you're telling them to follow you, and continue on with the trick. They'll get it eventually, although it may be difficult for particularly excitable Fieros, or ones that grow bored easily.
Name of Trick: Roll over Description: Your Fiero rolls over from a laying down position on command Point Value: 2 Requirements: Lie down How to Train: Start by either getting your Fiero to lie down or explaining the trick, or having them lie down while you explain the trick. Most Fieros find this to be a pretty easy trick, but some don't like getting their fur dirty, or find it pointless. Make sure they roll over completely, not just onto their back.
Name of Trick: Shake Description: Your Fiero holds out its paw to you to shake, on command Point Value: 2 Requirements: Sit How to Train: Most Fieros don't like their paws being touched, even after they know Accept Contact. Paws are delicate, and it is a big show of trust on the part of the Fiero to willingly allow you to hold one. Start by placing your Fiero into a sit while you explain the trick. If they're reluctant to give you their paw, you can try gently lifting one of their front legs off the ground. Shake it like you would a person's hand, and repeat until your Fiero is used to it and will stick out their paw on your command.
Name of Trick: Jump Description: Your Fiero jumps into the air on command Point Value: 1 Requirements: none How to Train: This trick is not like Jump or Leap in attacks, and if your Fiero already knows that, you may have to explain it to them. The trick jump is performed by a Fiero when they jump straight up in the air from a standing position. Start by having your Fiero stand while you explain what they are to do, and practice until they get it right and can do so on command. Make sure they don't confuse it with the attack jump.
Name of Trick: Back Flip Description: Your Fiero leaps into the air from a sitting position and flips backwards, then lands on their feet Point Value: 4 Requirements: Sit, Jump How to Train: Back Flip is one of the harder tricks. Note that a Fiero can and likely will be injured while trying to learn this trick, as it likely will not land on it's feet at first. Take it to the softest part of the training meadow you can find, and make sure there aren't any sticks or rocks or trees around that it could bang into. Fieros with wings should keep them folded and pressed tightly to their body while performing this trick. Begin by having your Fiero sit while you explain it. Your Fiero will have to push up off the ground with all four feet as hard as they can, throw themselves backwards, and land on their feet. This will take a lot of repetition, setbacks, and a Fiero may become scared of attempting the trick once they've fell. Practice it until your Fiero can do it, and will do it on your command.
Name of Trick: Spin Description: Your Fiero chases its tail on command Point Value: 1 Requirements: none How to Train: This is a fairly easy trick to train. Most Fieros find it silly however, and you may have to convince them that it's worth their time. If your Fiero has a tail, take it in your hand and pull it gently to one side. Once your Fiero has turned their head to see what you're doing, release the tail to swing back into position behind your Fiero. If your Fiero doesn't automatically chase it, stop and explain what they want to do. With large Fieros, you may have to step back quickly to avoid being accidentally hit by your Fiero, and make sure the Fiero does not actually catch and bite their tail, as that hurts. Practice until your Fiero will do this on command. It's best to practice both clockwise and anticlockwise to prevent your Fiero becoming dizzy while training this trick.
Name of Trick: Breakdance Description: Your Fiero rolls over onto its back and spins as if breakdancing. Point Value: 3 Requirements: Spin, Roll over How to Train: This trick is best taught on a smooth surface such as a large flat rock. Explain the trick to your Fiero as usual, then have it begin by performing the Spin trick on the rock or other smooth surface. You can also have it practice rolling onto it's back from a standing position. The breakdance trick encompasses both of these. Instead of chasing it's tail, the Fiero quickly lies down on it's back at the beginning of Spin, the momentum keeps going and the Fiero spins around on it's back. Make sure to practice on the timing and speed of the move. The faster the Fiero can get on their back after beginning the Spin, the faster and longer it will be able to breakdance for.
Name of Trick: Beg Description: Your Fiero gets up into a begging position Point Value: 2 Requirements: Sit How to Train: Have your Fiero sit while you explain what you'd like it to do. Begging is a fairly simple trick. Your Fiero sits back on it's haunches with it's paws in the air and it's eyes focused on you. Note that some may lose their balance and fall to the side a few times. Keep practicing it until they have it right and can do so on command.
Name of Trick: Handstand Description: Your Fiero stands on its front paws in a handstand Point Value: 4 Requirements: Beg How to Train: Handstand is a fairly difficult trick and requires a lot of balance on the Fiero's part and a lot of patience on yours. They should know beg first so that they are used to balancing on only two paws. Begin this trick as you would any other, by telling your Fiero what is expected of them. It is handy to have a tree, rock, or other solid object that can hold your Fiero's weight nearby, however, sometimes in the case of particularly large Fieros, this is not possible. If such an object is available, have your Fiero back up to it and kick their back legs up to rest on it, leaving their front legs on the ground. In the beginning stages of this trick, it doesn't matter how high up their back legs are, you are simply getting them used to having most of their weight on their front legs. When their back legs are up high enough, have them lean forward off the tree and keep balanced on their front legs for as long as they can. Once they can do that, or if there wasn't anything large enough to hold their weight, you can have them kick up their back legs and balance on their front ones without a support behind them. Most Fieros will fall on their heads a few times while learning, this is normal while they're learning the way they have to balance.

Abilities (used primarily in roleplays) (Note that abilities are generally not used on command, your Fiero can simply do these things whenever it wants once it is taught.) (They are also far more difficult to teach than anything else.)
Name of Ability: Fly (Note: Can only be taught to Fieros with wings) Description: Your Fiero can now fly How to Train: First, make sure your Fiero has wings. Wings of any size will work because of the magic that's present in this world, even floating wings that aren't attached to the body. However, your Fiero does need wings of some sort or they will not be able to learn this ability. Start by having your Fiero extend their wings fully. Some owners like to check the wings over for things like bent feathers or damage to the membrane before they begin. Have them extend and fold them a few times to get used to the motion. Most Fieros that don't know how to fly keep their wings folded at all times and the muscles in them are generally quite weak at first. Next, have them flap their wings. You may have to have them adjust the angle or speed at which they're flapping them. Tell them to stop if they start lifting off the ground though, as they are not yet ready to fly in this stage. Next locate a small cliff over the lake and have your Fiero jump in it a few times. Part of flying, particularly diving in mid air, involve free falling, and your Fiero should get used to the sensation. Wait until their wings are dry again, then have them either spread them out or flap them on the way down, trying to stop their flight and/or change their direction while they're falling. Tell them to still land in the lake though, even if they manage to generate enough lift to keep them in the air. Practice this a few times, and have them try to land with all four feet in the water at once, and possibly for them to try and keep their wings out of it so you don't have to wait for them to dry off between jumps. Once they can slow their decent and are used to being in the air, take them back to where you had them flapping their wings. Have them flap them some more, with the goal being to get them to lift off the ground and then land back on their feet. You still don't want them getting up too high at this point, as they likely won't be able to control themselves and will crash.(Continued soon, this is not the full way to train this ability)
Name of Ability: Speak Description: Your Fiero can now speak the human language and can communicate with anyone. (Note, very, very very time consuming and difficult to teach) How to Train: (Coming soon)
Name of Ability: Telepathy Description: Your Fiero can now communicate with a direct mental link to their owner. How to Train: (Coming soon)
Name of Ability: Swim Description: Your Fiero can now swim How to Train: (Coming soon)
Name of Ability: Climb Description: Your Fiero can now climb things like trees and steep cliffs. (Make sure the tree can support it's weight though!) How to Train: (Coming soon)
Name of Ability: Dig Description: Your Fiero can now dig. Useful for making burrows to protect them from the elements or to bury or unearth something. How to Train: (Coming soon)
Name of Ability: Hunt Description: Although all Fieros know how to hunt for themselves, Fieros that have been taught this ability will also hunt for their owners. How to Train: (Coming soon)
