[Seiji] + [Xeroc]
For whatever reason, he found himself being followed.. " Go home, mutt." The words came harsh in a disgusted tone. It was clear that the annoyed boy would not be tolerating the playful antics of the young pup that followed him. He wasn't sure where the thing even came from, or why it decided to give chase. Seiji did nothing more than mind himself on his walk from his hideout. The boy had seen these creatures.. Fieros, as he has heard them called, passing through the woods or kept as a pet by locals. It was personally nothing he was interested in. Always alone. " ... Mutt." The boy stopped his walk and turned to face the black spotted pup. Its tail wagged furiously at finally being noticed by the boy, yipping with excitement. It cared little of the boy's disapproving expression. It only wanted to play. But the boy refused to partake in foolishness with animals. " Do you not have a.. Pack? Family?", the boy said without feeling in his voice, " Return to where you came, mutt. I cannot entertain you" With his deformed left arm, the half-imp pointed off into the forest, assuming any direction that the pup might have same from. It had little effect. The puppy yipped with a tilted head at the boy. How annoying.. Yet what did he have to be concerned? The puppy had no place in his affairs, after all. The boy exhaled sharply, then turned to resume his walk on the forest path. And the young fiero followed without hesitation, finding entertainment in the boy's sleek tail. Just go away.

"████ off, mutt"
The puppy was getting hard to ignore for much longer. Playing 'catch' with the boy's tail was much an unwise idea. Self restraint kept the boy from striking the creature, for he only stand so much. The walk lasted for 5 minutes before a clearing was reached. It was where his boy preferred to spend his time as he had not much else to do.
Life is the best when it is simple.
Complications such as annoying animals or people were such a hassle.. Today was simply not a day where he could be liberated from such complications. He peered over his shoulder as he stood at the mouth of the clearing, frowning at the pup. It didn't seem to be tired, or uninterested in him at all. Unconcerned, unworried.. Free, and happy. It did not understand the cruel world.
And perhaps he envied this..
It had a live which he could not have imagined to have. Save for one aspect (as it seemed so far); that was to be alone in the world. The pup had no identification, nor has the boy heard of any calls for a lost pup from tooth or fang. Although this did not stir any sympathy from the boy, he felt a better tolerance for the pup. Perhaps it could stick around for a small time.. Long enough for someone or thing to take claim over it. Being unneededly harsh wasn't working to drive the thing to seek better company.
The boy took to his usual spot against a large stone near the pond that resided in the clearing. The grass was worn away by his frequent presence here. And the puppy followed accordingly, yipping cheerfully.

Seiji sat and leaned against the rock, his eyes half closed on his sullen face. A sigh escaped from between his lips as he looked at the pup that came bounding after him. He was still quite unsure as to why the puppy followed him. Food, perhaps? Or maybe simply in the need of company? Either way, his frown stuck firmly on his face, disapproving of the creature's presence nonetheless.
The stench of canine breath reached his nose as the puppy panted profusely. The weather was warm, but the sun was low enough on the horizon that the surrounding trees shaded the area. Still, the warmth of the air and the walk was certainly enough to wear the pup down.
The blue eyes of the pup stared at the boy's golden ones, the youth and inquisitiveness clearly seen. The stare was only broken as the pup took the chance to take a drink from the close pond. The forest was quite save for the sound of the pup lapping water and the boy's shallow breaths.
It was.. Peaceful.
This daily routine of the boy (which normally didn't involve a puppy) did very little to bring his spirits to a calm state. No.. Within, the boy's turmoils churned and burned fiercely within his heart. Cinders of his life that ceaselessly smouldered.. They could never be extinguished. The fowl seeming mood of the boy was caused by this burden he was unable to forgive. No scenery was peaceful enough to being him to harmony.
Perhaps the puppy would provide distraction. He considered it for a moment.. Yet he doubted the idea. The mutt was just another burden.

It didn't take long for the pup to return to from its drink. It licked its muzzle to wipe away the drops of water sticking to its fur. The excited yipping has since ceased, to the relief of the boy. However, the pup did retake its interest in the boy's tail, pawing at the spade shaped tip. Its tail wagged at it gave chase when the boy attempted to move his own tail away from the pup. The motion was taken as encouragement to play, but only added to the boy's disdain.
"Look mutt. My tail is not for play", he said coldly as he curled his tail and tucked it snugly against his leg.
The young fiero pawed at the curled tail for a moment, but it seemed the fun was over with it. It yipped in disdain at the boy. Annoying.. Sure the thing only wanted to play, but Seiji was not charmed by its antics. His initial frown has since stuck to his sullen face. He glanced around for a substitute that would perhaps be a better toy for the pup. A stick or rock should work, he thought.
Being in a forest, a stick was not very hard to find. He spotted a large bough off a short distance away at the edge of the clearing. The half-imp rose from his spot against the rock and approached a fallen branch, the eager puppy followed at his heels with a wagging tail. Seiji reached at the large branch and tore off a good sized stick. The pup eyed him as he did so with excitement.
"Fetch, mutt"
