Xander had quickly grown bored of saying Tilly’s name. His mouth was getting dry, and his patience was about gone. It seemed like so much trouble just for Tilly to respond to her name. He still wasn’t about to just give up after all that saying her name, that would be a lot of work for nothing, and that would be such a waste of time. “Ok, Tilly! Let’s check to see if you know your name! Ok?” Xander asked cheerfully. Tilda stared at him. So it was time to check if she learned. Alright then, she was ready. “Ok... hmm.... Jessica?” Xander asked, thinking of a random name. Tilda did nothing. “Tilly?” Xander asked. Tilda had been letting her eyes wander, when her alpha said her name, she let her eyes rest on him and her ears perked up. “Yay!” Xander cheered contently. This was good, so very good! “Mazy? Sabrina? Tilly?” Tilda only responded to her name, which made Xander very, very happy. So it hadn’t been a waste of time after all! “Good job Tilly~ You did it!” Xander praised Tilda. Tilda felt a little twinge of happiness. Now she knew she had to learn attacks, even if her alpha put up a fuss at teaching them to her. She had let him have this, now it was time for battle training. (225) (Accept Name: countined) (5.3)

"Millie?" Xander asked, just out of curiosity. Tilda looked at him impatiently. "..Oh." Xander mumbled. So it hadn't been a success. What a waste of time. Xander was far too bored of teaching Tilda her name to continue, it was a stupid waste anyway. Come to think of it, Xander was bored of this training thing in general. He knew he told Maddy he would train Tilda battle moves, but that seemed boring now, and he was sure she would forgive him. It wasn't like he wouldn’t; he would come back after he wasn't so bored. Just a small break, that was all. "Ok, Tilly we are leaving, ok?" Xander said, making eye contact with Tilly. "Heck no." Tilda thought firmly, but then Xander started to walk away. He didn't look back to see Tilda no budging he just kept walking. Tilda sighed; he was going to leave with or without her and Tilda did not like the thought of her alpha alone. She supposed she would have to give in this time and follow him. She had every intention of coming back here though, she would not give up on training, and she needed to be ready to defend Xander. She caught up to Xander, but he didn't acknowledge her. They both left the training ground, knowing they would come back soon.
