As you may know, characters are your Fiero's owners. You may have as many characters as you can keep up with, however it's strongly encouraged not to have too many.
As long as characters stand on two legs and can pick things up with their hands, they're pretty much allowed. They can have any number of unique parts on them such as bird wings or wolf ears or a mechanical arm or something, but these parts do not grant them any special powers. (They wouldn't be able to fly, hear better, or be stronger than a normal person) The parts are simply for aesthetic purposes, to make your characters look cool or interesting or whatever word you want to use for it.
Keep in mind that while a character's design can not increase what they can do (well, exactly, there are a few exceptions) it can certainly decrease it. A blind character could not see, a deaf character could not hear, etc. If you choose to give your character a trait such as these, please stick to it.
Keep in mind the size of your character as well. If you choose to have a tiny, fairy-like character that's small enough to ride a feline Fiero, it likely wouldn't be a good idea for them to own a Tricerafiero, who might not even be able to see them, let alone follow their commands.
A very large amount of freedom is given to you as far as your characters go, and for the most part I trust you to roleplay them correctly. If you have any questions about what can and can't be used as far as characters go, feel free to PM me.
If you'd like to make minor changes to your character, like changing the colour of their hair or something, feel free. Make sure to update it on their character profile. Changes such as these (that is, easy to explain in a roleplay, in this case you could simply say they dyed their hair) can be made quite easily and you're free to do so. If you'd like to completely change the look or personality of a character (and can't find out a good way to do it roleplay-wise) it is requested that you create a new character profile with the new character and delete the old one. (Or at least make it clear that the old version of the character is no longer in use)
Characters can be deleted at any time. You can think up any number of roleplay related reasons why they wouldn't be here anymore.
As far as actual transformations go, that is to say, transformations into other things at will not as part of a character redesign, characters can only change into one Fiero form. (see the Fiero shop and the Pup Growing sections for more information on this) Minor things such as their eyes changing colour to mirror their emotions are fine as well.
A character must be registered here before you can begin roleplaying with them. A thread for a character should contain at least what they look like and their personality, but any number of other things may be added, including pictures. This is a reference not only for you but for anyone who may roleplay with your character, so be sure to keep it up to date.
I think that's about it. If you have any questions about characters, feel free to PM me or post your question on this thread. Thanks for reading ^.^
